Public busing for LMS students
Public school districts whose borders are within ten miles of an LMS campus will transport students residing in that district from that district to that LMS campus and back. The Ephrata School District will transport high school students to the Locust Grove Campus where they can get an LMS shuttle to the Lancaster Campus. This public-private combination is the solution for high school students in the Ephrata/Akron area. (The chart accurately shows that Ephrata School District does not transport directly to the Lancaster Campus.)
Please contact your public school district for details about their non-public transportation policies and schedules.(Children under age 5 cannot be transported on public school buses.)
LMS-operated bus routesLMS runs a bus to bring northwest Lancaster County students to the Lancaster Campus for high school (for a fee). The bus to the Lancaster Campus has pick up points in Elizabethtown and Mount Joy.
The Lancaster Campus also has buses serving eastern Chester County (Oxford, Parkesburg and Cochranville) and York County.
