Middle school girls' field hockey.

The outstanding athletics at the high school level can be attributed to the development of young athletes at Lancaster Mennonite School's other campuses.

Kraybill Campus

Kraybill traditionally has a strong middle school (grades 6-8) sports program. Kraybill often fields two teams in order to give more students the opportunity to play and develop. Thus, the school offers excellence in athletics while allowing many students to participate.

The Kraybill Campus competes in the Commonwealth Christian Athletic Conference(CCAC). Sports schedules and standings can be obtained HERE.

  • Boys Teams: Track & Field, Soccer, Basketball
  • Girls Teams: Volleyball, Track & Field, Basketball, Soccer
  • Field Hockey: Girls in grades 7 and 8 can participate on the Junior High field hockey team on the Lancaster Campus. Transportation is available to the Lancaster Campus, but parents/caregivers are responsible for transportation home after the game or practice. This team plays in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Although the primary goals are character formation, recreation and physical development, Kraybill Campus athletes have gone on to excel in athletics at higher levels, indicating that they were well-prepared by Kraybill coaches.

Students in PreK-6 also have opportunities through the Mennonite Sports Organization, which is sponsored by Lancaster Mennonite School to serve its students and the broader community. Through the MSO, Kraybill students can compete against teams organized at the New Danville Campus, Locust Grove Campus and Hinkletown Mennonite School in soccer, field hockey and basketball. See the Mennonite Sports Organization website for more information.
