Miss Detweiler joined the Kraybill faculty at the start of the 2005-06 school year. She previously taught 4th grade as a long-term substitute at Denver Elementary School in the Cocalico School District.
Her hometown is Bowmansville, PA, where she is a member of Zion Mennonite Church. She is a product of Christian education, having graduated from Conestoga Christian School in Morgantown. Her favorite subject in school was art, and her hobbies are reading, music, and basketball. Her birthday is September 15.
