Favorite prayer/song:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
-Prayer of St. Francis
Enjoys teaching because:
I taught on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona for three years and also in the Warwick School District for three years. I studied abroad in England and participated in service projects in Mexico and the Lakota reservation. I attribute my love of teaching to these experiences and the opportunities to grow personally and spiritually because of them. I treasure the excitement in my students’ faces when learning something new and value the diversity and unique qualities that each one brings to the class.
Other:
My husband and I have two children and enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, playing sports, and reading with our family.
