Mrs. Weinstein has taught art at Kraybill Mennonite School since 1998, after 2 years at Lititz Area Mennonite School.  She has developed an outstanding art curriculum that integrates art history, art techniques, and the study of major artists. Under her guidance,  instruction, and encouragement, Kraybill students consistently win top honors in art contests.

Mrs. Weinstein's home town is Hicksville, Long Island, New York, where she attended Hicksville High and enjoyed English as her favorite subject. She enjoys art, sculpting, travel, and gardening.

Her birthday is July 20.

"I have always wanted the opportunity to share my love of creating art and art history with students. At KMS I have been given the liberty to institute a curriculum that does both these things. What we are able to do in the classroom each day is to tap into an appreciation of our God-given abilities and create art -- having fun while we're doing it. As an art educator at KMS, I have been able to collaborate with other teachers to reinforce what our students are learning in their other classes. It is my goal to have each student leave our doors with a good understanding of art history and with many different art techniques in many different media."
