Homecoming and Fall Festival

November 20-21, 2009
Saturday Auction was at 5:00 p.m.
NEXT YEAR'S DATE:
November 18-20, 2010
The goal of this system-wide event is to connect and re-connect our LMS family, friends and alumni with each other. This, of course, entails fun activities, opportunities to fellowship, and food!
- Our weekend kicked off Friday with the traditional, country style, all-you-can-eat Hess’s BBQ from 2:30 to 8 p.m., followed by the high school presentation of Charlie’s Aunt at 7:30.
- The Iron Bridge Benefit 5K Run, open to all ages, started at 9:30 Saturday morning. This cross country trail is a wonderful way to see the campus again while you do something heart healthy!
- The 3v3 Basketball tournament started at 8:30 and was open to all interested basketball players. Proceeds from the tournament help fund the athletic trainer at the Lancaster Campus.
- A country breakfast was served 8:30-10:00 in the Alumni Dining Hall.
- At 10:30 a.m. our alumni art exhibit opened. This exhibit welcomed alumni artists back to LMS to share their gifts with us. Some pieces were available for purchase from the artist.
- The weekend culminated with a benefit dinner & specialty auction at 5:00 p.m.-- a change from our traditional country auction ... a wonderful opportunity to fellowship around the dinner table and enjoy bidding on a few extraordinary items to support the students of LMS -- all in the quiet comfort of fine dining.
