This is a truly unique opportunity! Treat yourself to a 30 minute biplane ride in a time-honored aircraft. During the golden era of aviation, the WACO Aircraft Company of Troy, Ohio was the first family of aircraft manufacturing.  The jewel of WACO’s efforts and their last open-cockpit model for the barnstorming pilots of the 1930’s, was the WACO YMF. The WACO YMF provides the culmination of WACO’s efforts to produce a gorgeous and rugged biplane with absolutely delightful flight handling qualities. These aircraft are currently being built again in Battlecreek Michigan bringing back to flying the nostalgia of the 1930’s. The biplane that will be used for your flight is a 1990 model owned and operated by Marlin Horst (grandfather of Erica Horst) out of Smoketown
Airport. Each ride can accommodate 1-2 people. Maximum total combined passenger weight is 300 lbs.
