2009 LG Christmas Giving Project

Dear Locust Grove parents/caregivers:

Our faculty and staff wish your family a relaxed and blessed Thanksgiving holiday. We look forward to seeing students again on Tuesday, December 1.

With the grateful spirit of Thanksgiving in mind, we introduce this year's Christmas Giving Project which will take the place of classroom gift exchanges. We're encouraging a Christmas focus on others, rather than ourselves, and so invite students to participate in a food drive to benefit Water Street Ministries.

Students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable foods like canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, etc. for collection in the school Commons Area. The non-perishable food items will be received December 1 - 18.

Last year we collected 21 boxes of food and we hope for another year of generous Christmas giving!
