Race for Education Postponed

Dear Locust Grove parents/caregivers:

Due to inclement weather forecast for tomorrow, the Race for Education is POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20.

The SCHEDULE for students running is as follows:

9:15-9:45....... PreK and K

10:00-11:00....Grades 1 and 2

12:15-1:15......Grades 3, 4 and 5

1:30-2:30........Grades 6, 7 and 8

2:40................Closing assembly

 

Students are encouraged to wear BLACK AND GOLD SCHOOL COLORS FOR THE DAY or last year's RFE tee shirt if they have one.

An LMS WATER BOTTLE will be sent home with each student tomorrow (PreK will bring theirs home today).This should be washed before use on Tuesday.

Parents: IF YOU ARE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER YOUR HELP ON TUESDAY, PLEASE LET THE OFFICE KNOW BY MONDAY MORNING. THANK YOU!

CONGRATULATIONS to the 3RD AND 7TH GRADE CLASSES for winning a pizza party by having 100% participation and to ELIZABETH BYLER, grade 8, for sending out the most letters and receiving the top prize gift card. Students who won ice cream bars and Barnes and Noble book cards will be awarded those prizes at the assembly on Tuesday.
