Locust Grove Campus

Spiritual Life

The key to a Christ-centered education is having Christ at the center of all learning and activities, not as an add-on in the curriculum. Therefore, at Locust Grove, spiritual life involves every activity of the school, including student and teacher behavior in and out of the classroom. It includes prayer before, during and after school. It includes formal instruction as well as an apt word at a teachable moment. Locust grove also offers many specific and intentional activities to highlight the spiritual dimension of life.

  • Elementary students receive daily Bible instruction using the Journeys with God Bible curriculum.
  • Middle school students attend Bible class twice every week.
  • All students attend a weekly chapel service.
  • All teachers are committed to integrate the faith dimension into all subject areas.
