Music Honors for Seven Students

Seven Lancaster Mennonite High School (LMH) students were selected to participate in county and district music festivals this winter.
Qualifying for the Pa. Music Educator Association (PMEA) District 7 Chorus Festival are sophomore Anne Marie Baer (soprano 1), daughter of Gerald and Rose Baer, Elizabethtown; senior Shinik Choi (tenor 1), son of Hee Seung Choi and Mi Kyung Gum, Kimpo-City, Kyungki-Do, South Korea; senior Kayla Klase (soprano 1), daughter of Dorothy Klase, West Willow; and senior Logan Ressler (tenor 1), son of Gerald and Mary Alice Ressler, Lititz. Baer, Klase and Ressler also were selected for the county chorus festival.
Qualifying for the PMEA District 7 Orchestra Festival are two LMH violinists: junior Dawon Suh (second place), daughter of Hyun-Suk Suh and JunSub Kim, Seoul, South Korea, and senior Andrea Mast, daughter of Dan and Cindy Mast, Willow Street. Mast and freshman Kaitlin Sauder (also a violinist), daughter of John and Rose Sauder, Leola, also were selected for the county orchestra festival.
