AP Scholar Awards
Seven 2010 Lancaster Mennonite High School alumni and two LMH seniors have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.
Aaron Gish and Noah Jemison, both 2010 graduates, qualified for the AP Scholar with a Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
Michael Becker, a 2010 graduate, qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more.
Six qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher. These AP Scholars are Heather Gochnauer, Heelim Lee, Seth Moffett, Jillana Stauffer, Taylor Wenger and Saier Zeng—all class of 2010 except for Stauffer and Zeng who are LMH seniors and have at least one more year in which to complete college-level work and possibly earn another AP Scholar Award.
About 18 percent of the nearly 1.7 million high school students worldwide who took AP Exams performed at a sufficiently high level to also earn an AP Scholar Award.
