FFA Keystone Awards
Nine Lancaster Mennonite High School seniors received Keystone FFA Degrees, the state’s highest FFA award, on January 7 during the Pa. FFA Association's 79th Mid-Winter Convention. Only three to four percent of the approximately 8,000 Pa. FFA members qualify each year for a Keystone Degree.
The LMH seniors are: Angela Becker, daughter of Merle Becker, Willow Street, and the late Janet Becker; Charise Garber, daughter of Joe and Yvonne Garber, Lancaster; Kandace Hershey, daughter of Cliff and Mary Lou Hershey, Mountville; Lindsay Lapp, daughter of Wayne and Jennifer Lapp, New Holland; Derek Nissley, son of Gerald and Mary Nissley, Middletown; Ann Ntari, daughter of Moses and Irene Sakuda, Hamilton, New Jersey; Christopher Root, son of David and Marcia Root, Manheim; Suzanne Yocom, daughter of Dan and Amy Yocom, Millersville; and Katie Zimmerman, daughter of Richard and Kathryn Zimmerman, New Holland. Ryan King and Justine Weber serve as FFA advisers.
