Twelve seniors receive Keystone FFA Degree

Twelve Lancaster Mennonite High School seniors received Keystone FFA Degrees, the state’s highest FFA award, on January 10 during the Pa. FFA Association’s 82nd Mid-Winter Convention.         

The LMH Hans Herr members, all seniors, are: Katherine Andrews, daughter of Randall and Christine Andrews, Lancaster; Emily Ebaugh, daughter of Mark and Barb Ebaugh, Holtwood; Kristen Garber, daughter of Joe and Yvonne Garber, Lancaster; Melina Godshall, daughter of Rikki and Lynn Godshall, Lancaster; Kelsey Good, daughter of Steve and Jean Good, Lancaster; Jasmine Graybill, daughter of Teresa Graybill, New Providence, and Herbert Graybill, New Providence; Travis Hernley, son of Dale and Lois Hernley, Elizabethtown; Caitlyn Kelly, daughter of Michael and Kelly Kelly, Nottingham; Jeffrey Miller, son of Paul and Karen Miller, Elizabethtown; Christopher Newswanger, son of Dwane and Karen Newswanger, Bainbridge; Andrea Rohrer, daughter of Michael and Lori Rohrer, Washington Boro; and Hans Shuman, son of John and Reba Shuman, Mount Joy.

To earn this degree, they must be an FFA member for a minimum of 3 years, earn $1,000 or work 600 hours in a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program and demonstrate leadership in the school and community.
