Lancaster Mennonite Offers Merit Scholarships

Lancaster Mennonite School is offering 28 Freshman Scholarships to incoming ninth-grade students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, character and leadership.  The $250 merit scholarship is in addition to any need-based financial aid students may receive to attend Lancaster Mennonite High School for the 2008-09 school year.

Successful applicants for the Freshman Scholarship must be active in both church and school, dependable and trustworthy.  They should have a positive attitude and demonstrate a love of God and of learning.  Applicants must be recommended by a current or former teacher and by a pastor or other church leader who knows them well. 

The Freshman Scholarship is one of two merit scholarships offered by Lancaster Mennonite High School.  Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for $300 Hans Herr Scholarships if they maintain high standards of scholarship and leadership.

Scholarship applications will be processed on a rolling basis until all 28 available scholarships are granted to persons applying for the 2008-09 school year. A scholarship application may be obtained when requesting or submitting an application for admission.
