Please drive carefully
We have received several reports of drivers not slowing to posted speeds in the Route 30 school zone before and after school when traffic signs are blinking. The East Lampeter Township Police Department has been contacted and plans to monitor the situation. Also, drivers are reminded to not cut through the 2160 business complex before or after school.

Student Council, freshman reps
The following students have been selected to represent freshman on the HS Student Council: Donald Clark, Carissa Harnish, Tanner Horst and Zack Zook.

Fashion show
The high school Fashion and Design classes will hold their second annual fashion show 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, in the Fine Arts Center.

Shadow Day—Nov. 30 for juniors
On November 30, juniors will shadow someone in an occupation/career that they may be interested in pursuing. Each junior has received a packet of materials explaining the requirements of the day. When with the person being shadowed, the student should learn as much as they can about the daily routine and responsibilities of the job, training and education needed, and the personal characteristics one needs to be successful in that field. Also, the student should reflect on what he/she likes or dislikes about the career, the strengths of the career as well as its disadvantages. A formal report with proper signatures is due to the student’s advisor group leader by Friday, December 7.

Senior Corner

  • The senior class trip to Washington D.C. is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 29 and 30. Buses will leave from LMS at 6 a.m. Thursday and return around 8:30 p.m. Friday. • All seniors are invited to send in a baby picture and a senior class picture to the office by Christmas vacation, to be used for a slide show for Senior Parent Night. (Please include student name on back of pictures.)
