Christmas program
The annual Christmas program on Friday, December 14, at 7 p.m. will involve all students in grades K–2. Additional information will be sent home by the music teacher at a later date. We encourage you to invite friends and family to this celebration of Christ’s birth. An offering will be received.

Race for Education a big success!
Thank you to everyone who submitted addresses and sent in donations for our first annual Race for Education fundraiser. The grand total is 6,000! Congratulations to our top earning runners: John Ebaugh, Clare Mattilio, Dominic Mattilio, and Victoria Phillips. Many thanks to Fundraising Committee members Deb McCoy and Andrea Trompeter who folded, labeled, sealed and stamped all those envelopes that went out to school families and friends.

Picture retake day
Retake day is set for Tuesday, December 4, at 1 p.m. Students who missed the original picture day will need sit for a photo for record-keeping purposes even if they do not wish to buy pictures. For re-takes, the entire original picture packet (except for the class picture) must be returned. If you need a picture order form, please check at the office.

Absence policy
Please call the office at 872-2506 by 8:30 a.m. to report absences. If a call is not received by 8:30 a.m., the office will call the home to check on the reason for the absence.

Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts
Over the past several weeks when a student brought in a shoebox gift for Operation Christmas Child they were able to staple a paper “gift” to the bulletin board in the media center. That board is now full because 100 boxes have been donated. During chapel on November 15, we asked God to bless the children who will be receiving the gifts. Thank you for your generosity!

Winter Food and FUNdraiser
Mark your calendar for Friday, January 18 (snow date January 25). The New Danville Site Council and Fundraising Committee are planning an evening of food and fellowship here at the school. Watch for more details about this community fundraiser in the next issue of Report.
