Hess meeting with juniors and seniors:

Guidance Counselor Ernest Hess gave college planning materials and instruction to seniors in their September 5 class meeting. Parents are encouraged to review these materials. One paper is for parents to complete and return to the student’s advisor. Throughout the year, Mr. Hess meets individually with each senior to review the student’s plans. Parents also may request an appointment with Mr. Hess to discuss college plans.

Time to complete college applications
October, November and December are prime months for students to complete college applications. The guidance office strongly prefers to process college applications before December 31. Visits to colleges also should be arranged for these months.
