Beginning the year
We had a wonderful start to the school year! At our first chapel, the year’s theme, “Living and Giving God’s Way,” was introduced. On September 6, we welcomed pastors who prayed with the children for the school year, and on September 13, students were led in worship by UNART, a group of Venezuelan drummers and dancers.

School picture day—October 10 (date change!)
New Danville’s school picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 10 (not Monday, the 8th).

Parent orientation packets
Packets of information were sent home to parents who were unable to attend orientation earlier this month. Please call the office if you have questions.

Grocery coupon program
By participating in the grocery coupon program, the school can earn $5.00 on every $100 your family spends at these stores: Darrenkamps, Weis, Mussers, Giant, Ferguson & Hassler and The Market Basket. We call this “the painless fundraiser.” If you have questions, please call the school office. Thank you to Ann Marks who coordinates this program.

• Gianni pizza orders can be picked up in the art room between 12 noon and 3 p.m. on Friday, September 28. Payment should be made on or before October 2.
