Leaving campus at end of day
Students are expected to leave campus immediately at the close of the school day. They must leave the premises no later than 4 p.m. unless they are under the direct supervision of a staff member. Thanks for helping us with this expectation.
Officials warn about Beach Week dangers
Several years ago an article printed in the Intelligencer Journal reported that Maryland and Delaware beach resort authorities were warning high school parents about the dangers that occur when thousands of high schoolers rush to the shore after graduation. For example, underage drinking, fighting and other misbehavior have become increasingly problematic. Spokespersons advise keeping your teenagers at home if you or another adult can’t accompany them to the beach.
NHS induction
This year’s NHS induction will be held Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in Alumni Dining Hall.
Mini-golf event for new track facility
The LMH Student Council will hold a mini-golf tournament at the
Water's Edge mini-golf courses in Bird-In-Hand on Thursday, April 17, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. All proceeds will go toward funding for our new track facility. Our goal is to raise $20,000. Please see this letter for details.
