Campus Pastor
The Campus Pastor primarily plans the daily high school chapel services, with attention to the overall spiritual climate and student needs on campus. In addition, the Campus Pastor:
- Provides pastoral care to students.
- Attends to the spiritual life needs of students on campus, encouraging a climate that teaches from a believer’s church perspective, yet is warmly ecumenical and respectful toward other faith traditions.
- Relates to local pastors, church leaders, and high school campus ministries, especially in chapel planning.
- Supports faculty who relate to student-led Bible study and prayer groups.
- Oversees planning related to spiritual formation K-12.
The Campus Pastor is more involved with planning, programs and coordination of spiritual life activities whereas the Youth Minister is more involved in one-to-one relationships and small groups for mentoring, encouragement, accountability and prayer.
