Spiritual Life

Campus Pastor

The Campus Pastor primarily plans the daily high school chapel services, with attention to the overall spiritual climate and student needs on campus. In addition, the Campus Pastor:

  • Provides pastoral care to students.
  • Attends to the spiritual life needs of students on campus, encouraging a climate that teaches from a believer’s church perspective, yet is warmly ecumenical and respectful toward other faith traditions.
  • Relates to local pastors, church leaders, and high school campus ministries, especially in chapel planning.
  • Supports faculty who relate to student-led Bible study and prayer groups.
  • Oversees planning related to spiritual formation K-12.

The Campus Pastor is more involved with planning, programs and coordination of spiritual life activities whereas the Youth Minister is more involved in one-to-one relationships and small groups for mentoring, encouragement, accountability and prayer.
