Locust Grove Campus
The school facility at this location is in good basic condition. It is in need of cosmetic upgrades to meet the present site enrollment. The strategic plans call for a campus enrollment of 400 students by the 2008-09 school year. Such enrollment would make a case a new media center and music room to make classroom space available.
Most of the building is in need of air-conditioning; the school should plan to address this need as soon as possible.
The final coat should be put on the parking areas by the fall of 2009.
Parents and site council are currently raising funds to replace the playground equipment at Locust Grove. The cost is estimated at $40,000.
