April Golf Tournament moves to Conestoga Country Club
This year’s LMS Golf Tournament, which benefits the annual fund, will be held Wednesday, April 25, at Conestoga Country Club. There will be morning and afternoon shotguns (7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.) with Hess’s Barbecue Catering providing the meals following at the New Danville Campus, just 10 minutes away from the golf course.
The format for this tournament is a four-person scramble. Each golfer receives: light snack before round, full meal following round, practice balls and driving range, greens fee, cart, and the opportunity to purchase mulligans. The event also will include door prizes, team prizes and individual skill prizes.
There will be team prizes for men, senior men, women and mixed; categories must have three or more foursomes to qualify. A mixed team is defined as a foursome with at least two women. A senior team is defined as a foursome with at least two senior men (65 or older).
Conestoga Country Club requires all golfers to wear appropriate golf attire. Tee shirts, jeans, and cut-offs are not allowed.
Cost per golfer is $90.
