Lancaster Mennonite School announces three Christmas concerts

Campus Chorale, the school’s most advanced choir, consists of 44 juniors and seniors.

Messiah solos will be performed by Madeline Bender, LMS alumna and international opera singer; Madeline's husband, Paul Whelan, also an international opera singer; also an international opera singer; Amy Yovanovich, accomplished local soprano who has studied with John Darrenkamp; and Timothy Bentch, international singer and recently returned from serving in mission work in Hungary and other Eastern European countries.

The orchestra will also include LMS alumni: Joe Gascho, who is doing his doctoral work in harpsichord at the University of Maryland; Tara Bare Kenkelen, leading the orchestra; and Janelle Engle Benner, leading the violin II section.
