LMMS Performs Anne of Green Gables
Middle school students at the Lancaster Campus of Lancaster Mennonite School will perform Anne of Green Gables on Thursday and Friday, March 27 and 28, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center.
In this beautiful stage adaptation of L.M. Montgomery's classic novel, Anne Shirley comes to live with aging brother and sister, Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, at Green Gables. The story skillfully weaves together story after story of Anne's mishaps and accomplishments as she becomes a large part of this small community.
Major roles include Juliana Satriale as Anne, Berke Beidler as Gilbert, Grace Jemison as Marilla, Steven Wasilewski as Matthew, Jordan Klase as Rachel Lynde, and Katie Johnson as Diana Barry. Danielle Hofstetter and Dean Sauder are director and assistant director. Student stage managers are LMS senior Lauren Frey and freshman Katherine Peck.
Tickets will be sold at the door for general admission seats--$5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Come early for the best seats. For more information call 299-0436, ext. 414.
