High school to present winter concert

Lancaster Mennonite High School’s Winter Concert will be held Sunday, February 21, at 3 p.m. in the High Fine Arts Center.        

The concert will include the orchestra, band, jazz band, Campus Chorale, and Junior Chorale.        
Choral music will include “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” by Haydn; “Hark I Hear the Harp’s Eternal,” arranged by Parker; “Khumbaya,” and “Praise His Holy Name” by Keith Hampton        
The band will play “Prophesy and Fortitude” pieces by Sean O’Loughlin. Jazz band selections will include “Jericho” and “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” arranged by Chris Sharp. And the orchestra will perform a Bach piece.
