1960 Class Reunion

One of the big projects for this reunion was the gathering of information and printing a memory book. Nearly every living classmate responded to our request for information, and we also had a page for the 10 class mates who are deceased (information provided by spouse or some other family member).

Our reunion began at 2:30 in the afternoon (May 15, 2010, at the Lancaster Campus) to provide time for visiting and getting reacquainted with classmates we had not seen for years. The afternoon included time for campus tours and a class picture.

At 6 p.m. we gathered in Alumni Dining Hall for a banquet, prepared by Dottie Weber, and a program. Probably the highlight of the program was the music selections presented by four members of our class, several of whom are professional musicians. They named themselves “ONEANDDONE.” However they did such a great job that I suspect an encore performance may be requested at subsequent reunions. The members were Harold Hess, Carroll Lehman, Lorraine Murphy and Rhoda Longenecker. The event drew a great turnout—81 of 118 living class members (plus 73 spouses).
