1972 Class Reunion
Report from Julia Sensenig: The Class of 1972 held its 35th class reunion at Shady Maple Banquet Hall on Saturday evening, September 15, 2007. Forty-two classmates and many spouses/friends attended. We played the game “Name That Classmate,” placing names with our high school graduation photos. Classmates Lloyd and Darlene Smoker shared about their 21 years of mission work in the country of Haiti. Wanetta Gerlach, widow of classmate Eugene Gerlach, told us about her husband’s courageous struggle with ALS and his victorious homegoing. Julia Sensenig shared a personal story. After singing together “Praise God From Whom” (# 606 in the Mennonite Hymnal), we took group photos.
