LMH Defends Chess Championship

PHOTO CAPTION:  The LMH chess team won its second consecutive Lancaster-Lebanon League championship. The LMH chess team won its second consecutive Lancaster-Lebanon League championship. The team placed first during the regular season with a 14-2 record and was the top seed going into the post-season championship tournament. The team won the championship game in convincing fashion, with no player losing a match (7 wins and 1 tie) for a 4.5-.5 score. The team captains were Haolun “Harry” Wu ’20, Katherine Gish ’18 and Ruiming “Rita” Zhang ’19. The team is coached by teacher Cedric Steiner.
