The Paradise Rotary Club honored junior Matt Friesen at its February meeting for “significant achievement, good character, and good citizenship.”
Matt is the son of Doug and Tina Friesen of Ephrata. He is a member of National Honor Society and the Junior Class Committee. As a member of the varsity boys’ soccer team, he has won a section championship and a district championship. He plays club soccer and is a member of the youth group at his church.
“Matt Friesen is intelligent, personable, humble, conscientious, and motivated. He works well with his teachers and peers. Moreover, Matt is involved in other extracurricular activities. He has worked hard, and Rotary selected him as Rotary Student of the month. Matt has a bright present and future.
