LMH’s student-run WinterFest will be held Friday, February 6, from 6:30 p.m.-11 p.m.The Student Council will include a “Mini-THON” this year to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund. The Mini-THON will be held after the LMH Talent Show.

Student-led Four Diamonds Mini-THONs are fun-filled events for students that inspire teamwork, leadership, and creativity while empowering young people through philanthropy and service in the fight to conquer childhood cancer. Mini-THONs are modeled after the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), and have been making a difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients and their families for more than 20 years while creating a legacy of service within their community.

LMH students are encouraged to buy a $12 ticket for admission to both Talent Show and Mini-THON; however, they may buy a ticket for one event. The Talent Show is open to all LMS students, but the THON is for LMH students and staff only.

The first part of Mini-THON will be a tournament/activity time where students can participate in soccer, basketball, video games and other activities. The second part of Mini-THON will be a “dance party,” and the final total of money raised for the Four Diamonds Fund will be revealed.
