Locust Grove Poets to be Published
The poems of 13 students were entered in the Celebration of Young Artists poetry contest and were accepted for publication in the 2018 Celebration! book published by Creative Communications: seventh-graders Davin Esbenshade, Caleb Metzler, Robert Ross, Dylan Porter, Abby Brubaker, Nelson Calderon-Vasquez and Joshua Klein; sixth-graders Ian Kennett, Tenra Adams, Edison Gingrich, Sarah Forry, Lia Bentivogli, Samiya Krady and August Stetler. Barbara Josephian teaches Language Arts to students in grades 6 and 7 at the Locust Grove Campus. She has been teaching since 1994, with 19 of those years at Lancaster Mennonite. She holds a B.A. in English and History from Bucknell University and an M.Ed. in English Education from Millersville University.
