Fall Fest Homecoming 2022

Mark your calendar now for September 30- October 1 2022, and get ready for an exciting Fall Festival & Homecoming at Lancaster Mennonite! We hope that you will join us for a time of reminiscing on your LM years, reconnecting with fellow classmates and reinvesting in the LM community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sponsorship Opportunities

Our annual Fall Festival & Homecoming event attracts current students and their families, alumni, and families from the community to enjoy LM’s athletic games, Hess’s famous BBQ, kids activities and live outdoor music with student performances.

We invite your business or family to be a Sponsor as part of the event this year. Click on the “Sponsorship Opportunities” button below to learn more about the Sponsorship Packages available – ranging from Signature Level at $10,000 to the Bronze Level at $250.

Friday, September 30

HESS’S FAMOUS BARBEQUE: $15 Adult / $10 Kids.  Takeout will be available from 11:30 AM – 6:00 PM.  Indoor dining available after 1 PM.

CANCELLED! Live Student Music from the LM band 3:30 – 4:30 PM

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Come out for some Fall Family Fun! Hay ride, hay bale maze, petting zoo, and more.

Campus Tour:  4:30-5:30 PM

ATHLETIC EVENTS:The Boys JV Soccer game is at 5:30 PM vs. Annville-Cleona. The Boys Varsity Soccer game starts at 7:00 PM vs. Annville-Cleona.  Games are in the stadium on the turf field.

Athletics Tailgate Celebration:  Blazer Nation will celebrate the 2011-2012 Boys Soccer State Champions at halftime of the Varsity Game. A tail gate reception will follow the games in the parking lot of the Turf Stadium.

Saturday, October 1

Iron Bridge Homecoming 5k: Check-in opens at 7:45 AM, race begins at 8:30 AM.

FFA Pancake  Breakfast: 9 – 11 AM.  Order online or at the door: $7 Adult / $5 Kids (ages 5-13) / 4 & under FREE

Alumni Music Festival & Student Music:  9:30 AM – 2 PM.  NEW THIS YEAR – Come hear some of your favorite musical alumni share their gifts!

Campus Tours: 10-11 AM and 12-1 PM.

Family Carnival:  11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Face painting, carnival games, food trucks (from 12- 2 pm) and more!

STEAM Activity:  12 – 12:30 PM and 1 – 1:30 PM.  At LM, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) is one of our pillars of curriculum. Pre-K through 4th grade students and their families are invited to join Elementary Art & MakerSpace teacher Ms. Longenecker in the newly constructed MakerSpace. All other ages may attend a demonstration in the Design Lab with LMMS Connect Teacher, Mr. Bowman. Each activity will take time to showcase the new locations and provide an engaging activity.


Stop by the Lancaster Campus for an annual favorite, a barbecue dinner provided by Hess’s Barbecue. Meals will be available  from 11:30 AM-6:00 PM on Friday, September 30 at the Lancaster Campus. Indoor dining is available after 1PM.

Meals will cost $15 for adults and $10 for kids (age 12 and under) A full barbecue dinner includes pork and chicken BBQ, picnic side dishes, fruit, a roll, water, and dessert. Kids meals will be available for pre-order only and will include chicken, pork, fruit, dessert and drink.

A trail run/walk on the beautiful and scenic 5k cross country course at Lancaster Mennonite School. The course winds through the 95-acre campus over hills, past the Mill Creek, and across the historic Iron Bridge. Prizes will be awarded to the top man and woman in their age groups. 

  • Check-in opens at 7:45 AM, race begins at 8:30 AM

Register in advance online – $25 adult and $15 youth, or sign-up the day-of- $30 adult and $20 youth. All entries received before September 8th will be guaranteed a free 5k t-shirt. Registrations received 9/9-10/1 will be given a t-shirt while supplies last so register early!

Music Festival

Enjoy a variety of music performed by alumni musicians throughout the day at Homecoming! Alumni performers include Ryan Kauffman, Jared Hankee and Mindy Nolt, Rhea Miller with Dean Clemmer and Dennis Maust, and Chris Kauffman! The festival will be concluded at 2 PM by our very own LM student music groups! No tickets are needed. This event is free for everyone!

Kids & families join us for these FREE fun activities on LM Lancaster campus from 4:00 – 7:30 PM, Friday, September 30 AND on Saturday, October 1 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Friday Kids Activities Include:

Saturday Family Carnival Activities Include:

  • Face painting
  • Carnival games
  • And more…

Penny’s Ice Cream, Souvlaki Boys, Nano Grill, and Halo’s Kitchen food trucks will join the carnival from 12-2.

Cost is $7 per person for adults, $5 per person for 5-13 year olds, and FREE for kids 4 & under.

We are accepting meal orders the day of, but to guarantee your meal, please pre-register today!

Grades Pre-K through 12th are all together on our unified campus! The first public opportunity to view these new spaces will be at the Homecoming & Fall Festival. Come see the exciting updates and changes by taking a guided tour from:


  • 4:30-5:30 PM


  • 10 – 11 AM
  • 12 – 1 PM

Meet at the skywalk in the middle of campus if you are interested in a tour during that time.
