Waters Edge Mini Golf, Bird-in-Hand

Each year the LMH Student Council hosts a mini golf tournament to raise money for a particular project at Lancaster Mennonite. In addition to the fee paid by students, local businesses donate a large portion of the funds raised and are instrumental in making the event a success.

This year Student Council is raising money for the library, known by students as the Media Center. The library is located in the “old” building, built in 1964. There are plans in the coming years to renovate the building, but the library is not a priority in those renovations. The Media Center currently has chairs and tables from decades ago and very few spaces for students to sit comfortably to study and do homework. Therefore, student council has decided to invest in new furniture to create a lounge area, as well as new tables and chairs for the computers and work areas.
