Quarter 1 Exhibition: Putting the I in CitizenshIp.
Exhibitions are opportunities for students engaged in the LMMSConnect! program to actively present their learnings and understandings to an authentic audience of family members, friends, and members of the community, showing their understanding of what they have learned throughout the quarter.
“Putting the “I” in citizenship focuses on engaging students as active participants in their communities. An active citizen takes responsibility and initiative in areas of public concern and uses their gifts and talents to better their community. It is our calling as followers of Jesus to be stewards, mindful of our local and global responsibility to care about our resources and well-being, as well as the resources and well-being of others. This quarter we will focus on building a sense of citizenship within our LMMS community and then go broader and explore how each of us can make a difference in the communities in which we live.
