LM's Saint James campus provides
In an individualized program
Located in one of Downtown Lancaster’s finest historic buildings, Saint James Episcopal Church, LM’s Saint James School was to provide students in prekindergarten (age 4) with an innovative approach to learning in an environment with ample age-appropriate space for classrooms, indoor and outdoor play, special programs and more. However, anticipated funding from the PreK Counts program was not approved by the PA Legislature by the start of the 2017-18 school year.
Each classroom is set up with a variety of interest areas, or centers, including blocks, dramatic play, toys and games, art, library, discovery, music and movement and technology.
Students experience individualized activities tailored to each of their unique needs, along with the opportunity to work in small groups.
Teachers collaborate with parents through conferences, progress reports three times a year and a meeting that provides resources for parents.
