Information to keep our LM community updated on COVID resources
面授学校的安全注意事项
Caring for the physical, mental and spiritual well being of our employees and students is our top priority, now and always. Lancaster Mennonite is committed to loving God and our neighbors, and desire health and safety for each and every one in the school community.
For the 2022-23 school year masking remains optional for LM students and employees. Persons are still invited to wear masks, but the choice will be optional. We anticipate that any choices made regarding optional masking will be respected by the LM community.
However, COVID-19 is not going away. Pennsylvanians ages 6 months and older are eligible for the COVID vaccine, and Pennsylvanians ages 5 and older are eligible to schedule a booster. Vaccines are readily available with at a doctor’s office or local pharmacy.
Here are resources from the PA Department of Education to help individuals and families follow safety guidance and get vaccinated.
Ongoing Safety Protocols
We will continue to keep these safety protocols in place this year:
- Maintaining hand washing protocols
- Reduced sharing of supplies among students
- Requiring students and staff to stay home when symptoms are present (self-screening at home)
- Continued encouragement for outdoor learning whenever possible
