FIRST GRADE TEACHER/LEARNING SUPPORT — Kraybill Mennonite School, Mount Joy

Kraybill Mennonite School is seeking a full time first grade teacher for the 2018-19 school year, responsible for teaching a self-contained first grade classroom. Time will also be given to providing learning support to students in other grade levels. Certification in elementary and Special Education is preferred. Candidates should have a commitment to Anabaptist/Christian faith values.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER — Lancaster Campus

Lancaster Mennonite Middle School (LMMS) is seeking a full-time teacher with science expertise and interdisciplinary experience for the 2018-2019 school year. LMMS engages curriculum through project based learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong motivation, communication, and organizational skills. She/he will be committed to developing cultural competence and be willing to facilitate cooperative learning, participate in collaborative teaching and shared decision making.  The ability to work effectively with a team of adults is critical. As a member of the LMMS faculty, the goal of this position is to ensure that each student will engage faith formation, think critically, respect human dignity, understand cultural heritage, celebrate diversity and be responsible to self and community. FULL-TIME CLASSROOM AIDE — Locust Grove Campus

The Locust Grove Campus is seeking a full-time aide for the Kindergarten Spanish Immersion class. The candidate will be fluently bilingual and comfortable using Spanish in daily activities. The candidate will assist children in their daily routines as well as support the teacher in creating an engaging, interactive environment that promotes learning. The candidate will also adhere to the vision that learning another language and culture is integral to being a missional school. The candidate should have a passion for working with young children and creating a nurturing classroom.

BIOLOGY TEACHER — Lancaster Campus

Lancaster Mennonite High School is seeking a biology teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. The course load will include the teaching of general biology, anatomy and physiology, and other related classes. EVENTS LIAISON — LM System Position on the Lancaster Campus

This part-time position will serve as a liaison between volunteer event committees and the advancement office. The event liaison will manage the events, incorporating parent and volunteer leadership and ownership in the events. The events liaison position requires a high degree of organization, creativity, attention to detail, and a level of professional conduct when communicating with parents, volunteers, and vendors. This position will help to ensure that volunteer led events meet the school’s goals. Computer skills are required. This full-time position provides leadership for alumni relations and the ongoing development of the Annual Fund. The emphasis is to increase the number of persons giving at least $1000 and higher and to engage a greater number of alumni in LM events and activities. This person sets strategy and plans for success in reaching annual fund goals. Lancaster Mennonite School is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communication (DMC). The DMC will be responsible for the visionary leadership in marketing, public relations, crisis management messaging, research-based messaging, and branding expertise for Lancaster Mennonite School. This marketing professional will oversee the entire marketing and communication effort including the development and implementation of a strategic marketing and branding initiative. The comprehensive plan includes the coordination of all campus efforts to increase student enrollment, manage external communications and LM identity and image, motivate fundraising among alumni and other prospective donors, and recruit highly qualified faculty and staff. MALE AND FEMALE RESIDENCE HALL ADVISORS — Lancaster Campus

Lancaster Mennonite School is seeking one male and one female residence hall advisor for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for an individual with a global perspective who enjoys working with high school students to be responsible for supervision and leadership of the residence hall and its residents. This position is a live-in position and involves mentoring and building community among residents who come from diverse backgrounds by leading large and small groups for social, spiritual and educational programming. This individual will serve on a team of advisors with a Residence Hall Director. Candidates should have a commitment to Anabaptist/Christian faith and values.
