First Grade Long-Term Substitute – Locust Grove campus

The Locust Grove Campus has a 12-week, long-term substitute position open in the  First Grade classroom starting the beginning of January 2021 until the end of March 2021.  We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

Third Grade Spanish Immersion Long-Term Substitute – Locust Grove campus

The Locust Grove Campus has a 12-week, long-term substitute position open in the  Third Grade Spanish Immersion classroom starting the end of February 2021 until the middle of May 2021.  We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

4th Grade Math and 4th/5th Grade Science Part-time Long-Term Substitute – New Danville campus

The New Danville Campus has a 12-week, part-time, long-term substitute position open for 4th  Grade Math and 4th/5th Grade Science starting January 2021 until the end of March 2021.   Hours are Mondays from 8:30am to 10:30am and Tuesdays – Fridays from 8:30am to 11:30am.   We are looking for a dynamic teacher that has a passion for elementary students, someone that is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, creates a teaching and learning environment that encourages and promotes creativity, inquiry and collaboration, and is culturally competent to teach within a diverse student body.

Custodian – Part-Time – New Danville Campus

The New Danville campus has an immediate opening for a part-time custodian. The position has flexible hours of 6 hours a day any time between 3:00pm and 7:15am. If interested, please contact Troy at hursttd@lancastermennonite.org

 

Custodian – Part-Time – Locust Grove Campus

The Locust Grove campus has an immediate opening for a part-time custodian. The position has flexible hours of 4 hours a day any time between 3:00 pm and 7:15am. If interested, please contact Troy at hursttd@lancastermennonite.org

 

Custodian – Full-Time – Lancaster Campus

The Lancaster campus has an immediate opening for a full-time custodian. The hours are 3:30pm – 12:00am Monday through Friday. If interested, please contact Troy at  hursttd@lancastermennonite.org

 

Food Service Department — Part-Time — Lancaster Campus

The Lancaster Campus has a part-time position available immediately. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:30 pm each day that school is in session. Basic duties are helping with food preparation, serving students and basic kitchen duties. Applicants will be required to maintain a ServSafe Certification.  Applicants should be culturally competent to serve within a diverse student body and should be committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective and to maintaining a safe and well-maintained lunch room environment. Coaches

Lancaster Campus

Winter 2020

  • Varsity Bowling Coach – Applicable background checks required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Have a Faith Based background
  • Minimum of 3 years of travel, high school, college coaching or playing experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must have dependable transportation to and from work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous participation in high level (playing or coaching)
  • Strong leadership and teaching skills
  • Have a Faith Based background
  • Guest services/customer service background
  • Previous participation in athletics/clubs/school programs preferred
  • A positive and friendly attitude towards athletes, parents, officials, opposition, and fellow employees
  • Must be able to follow and explain directions both written and verbally
  • Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions
  • Initiative to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information
  • Ability to remain calm in tense or stressful situations
