She received her D.Ed. from Penn State University in 2014, where her dissertation work in the field of Adult Education focused on leadership-centered involvement opportunities for culturally and linguistically diverse parents of students within the K-12 setting. Dr. Barlet holds two master’s degrees from Millersville University in the areas of Leadership for Teaching and Learning and Language and Literacy. Her bachelor’s degree, earned at Bucknell University, is in Elementary Education with concentrations in ESL and Spanish.

Dr. Barlet previously worked as the Supervisor of Multilingual Learning for Manheim Township School District in Lancaster, PA. Prior to that, she was an ESL Supervisor, ESL Specialist, and Reading Specialist for the School District of Lancaster.

In addition to her current role as an ESL/ELD Specialist, she serves as an adjunct instructor for courses within the ESL Certification Program at Eastern Mennonite University (Lancaster Campus). She is passionate about teaching multilingual learners and learning about the many languages and cultures represented in our community.

He has led curriculum development in his prior district for over ten years, helped to integrate restorative justice models into school classrooms, and has led many restorative meetings with staff, parents, and students. He has guided his previous school through accreditation and served on numerous accreditation teams. He has run HR in his school system for the last 11 years.

Prior to working in administration, he served in many roles, including as a K-12 music and Bible teacher, drama director, and IT support. He has led curriculum development in his prior district for over ten years, helped to integrate restorative justice models into school classrooms, and has led many restorative meetings with staff, parents, and students. He has guided his previous school through accreditation and served on numerous accreditation teams. He has run HR in his school system for the last 11 years.

他从事教育工作 14 年，曾在 Commonwealth Charter Academy 担任中学健康与体育 (PE) 教师，在约克基督教学校担任体育主任，在 Northside Christian Academy 担任中学圣经和体育教师，并在 Cook & Boardman 和 HC Quality Doors 担任人力资源职务。在 13 年的时间里，他曾执教过 17 支不同的球队，其中包括田径队、中学篮球队、中学棒球队、高尔夫球校队、篮球校队以及他儿子的棒球小联盟队。

其他：他与妻子和两个孩子一起参加一个非宗派教会。闲暇时，他喜欢打高尔夫球、阅读、散步、徒步旅行和观看体育比赛。
