LANCASTER CAMPUS SCHOOL BUILDINGS CLOSING & EDUCATIONAL INSTRUCTION OPERATING REMOTELY

In-Person & Remote Instruction Schedule Lancaster Campus (grades 6-12) will shift to remote instruction on Monday, November 23 - December 4. (6 days of remote instruction). We hope and plan to return to school in-person on Tuesday, December 8th. Devices will be handed out tomorrow, Friday, November 20 to those who have requested them and do not have ones at home. Locust Grove Middle School (6-8th grade) will shift to remote instruction on Monday, November 23 - December 4. (6 days of remote instruction). We hope and plan to return to school in-person on Tuesday, December 8th. Please check on Schoology and with your teachers for remote instructions in the morning, starting on the 23rd. New Danville and Locust Grove Campuses (PreK-5th grade) will continue in-person instruction through November 24, if possible. We are off for Thanksgiving break November 25-30. Then we will move to fully remote instruction December 1-4. (4 days of remote instruction). We hope and plan to return to school in-person on Tuesday, December 8th. Devices will be handed out Tuesday, November 24 to those who have requested them and do not have ones at home. ** This is LM’s current intent, but subject to change based on any changing PA Department of Health (DOH) mandates or other factors. ** LM's plan is for teaching and learning instruction to continue remotely. This also means all school activities are cancelled as well, and additional announcements about event changes for the remainder of the year will be sent out via email. Please continue to check the Schoology & SeeSaw software platform and email for class assignments. Some of our faculty and staff will be working remotely. If you need to reach anyone they will be accessible by email or leave a voicemail on their school line as it will show up on their email, and they can call you back or set-up a video chat with you from home. We are requiring persons to call ahead to schedule appointments; there will be no walk-ins. If any students need to borrow a Chromebook laptop from the school, please reach out to IT at: support@lancastermennonite.org or contact Paula McCuen directly.
