How to Apply

STEP 1: Create an Account

Hit apply now below. In the enrollment portal under log in you will have the option to create a new account.

STEP 2: Add your Info

After your account has been created you will be able to log in to apply for the first time, complete an application, or add a new applicant/sibling. Through this account you will also be able to pay your application fee, see your application checklist, and upload required documents.

STEP 3: Submit Application

After all information has been accurately entered, you may submit your application online with the link below. The school requires academic, attendance and behavior reports, along with a copy of immunizations, to complete an application. We typically require a score of 40 on the TOEFL test or an equivalent test.

STEP 4: Admissions Interview for New Students

After an application is submitted, a family/new student interview will be scheduled with the Admissions Office or the grade level principal. Interviews are conducted online via Zoom, WeChat, or WhatsApp. A decision on acceptance will be made after all steps are completed.

STEP 5: Receive Acceptance Letter

After reviewing your application and conducting the interview, if you are approved to enroll as a student you will then receive an official acceptance letter and welcome packet from the school.

STEP 6: Confirm Enrollment & Pay

You confirm enrollment to Lancaster Mennonite by paying a tuition deposit to receive Visa paperwork. Your full tuition bill is due by July 1 for the coming school year.

STEP 7: I-20 Student Visa Interview

Students will schedule a Visa interview at their local embassy or consulate for a visa to study in the United States. After that interview you will hear back if you have approval to study in the United States. Please let the school know the results of your visa interview immediately so we can finalize the necessary paperwork and next steps to be officially enrolled at Lancaster Mennonite!

FAMILY LEGACY BETWEEN ETHIOPIA & LANCASTER MENNONITE SCHOOL: HAMELMAL ’93 & BETHLETHEM ’93 YOHANNES GERMAMO

The Yohannes Family has been connected to LM for decades. Sisters came to the United States from Ethiopia for high school and lived in the Graybill Hall Residence Hall as dorm students. Hamelmal currently lives in Virginia and provides financial management and financial system support to the U.S. Government. Bethlehem, is a nurse at Georgetown University Hospital caring for patients before and after surgery.

Vidanet exists to develop global disciples of Jesus Christ through intensive discipleship and mission opportunities. My husband, DARYL HOOVER ‘88 and I serve on the executive leadership team.
