Enjoys Teaching Because: I am excited to work at LM because this is a dream come true. After being part of the IVEP program I wanted to come back and be part of the Spanish Immersion program. Also, because teaching abroad will bring learning and pedagogic experiences and the opportunity to create new bonds with children and colleagues. I enjoy teaching because every day you find something interesting, challenging, fun, new and exciting to work with children, they always brings joy and a sense of adventure.
Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Favorite Quote: No hay cambio sin sueño, como no hay sueño sin Esperanza” Paulo Freire, La pedagogía de la esperanza.
“There is no change without dreaming as there is no dream without having hope” Paulo Freire, Pedagogy of Hope.
Other: In my free time, I like to read, sleep, hike, travel, try new food and watch movies. I am a lifelong learner and I believe that as teachers we need to keep learning about our students, our context, methodologies and technologies which are going to improve our way of teaching and the ways our students learn.
