Junior High Baseball Offered

Lancaster Mennonite School is now offering junior high baseball as a special program under the Baseball Boosters rather than under the Athletic Department. As such, a registration fee is required to cover the league entry fee of $192.50 per team, umpire fees, equipment and field maintenance. The team(s) that will be part of this program will compete in the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League. Signups are now open for any Lancaster Mennonite students in 6th, 7th or 8th grade, who were born after April 30, 2000. The deadline to sign up is December 19, 2014. The registration fee is $150 dollars for the first child in a family; the second child is $140, and the third child is $130. The registration form and a check payable to LMS should be mailed to Lancaster Mennonite School or submitted to the Lancaster Campus office, attention Lew Martin. Practices will be held either at the Locust Grove or the Lancaster campuses approximately 2 times per week. Practices will begin in March, and games will begin in April. The season of 16-18 games runs through the beginning of July, so this is a commitment beyond the end of the school year. We are also looking for parents who would be willing to help in the venture. If you have interest, please let Lew Martin know. For more information contact Lew Martin at (717) 299-0436, ext. 430, or REGISTRATION FORM
