The LMH boys soccer team received the 2014 NSCAA Team Academic Award. This annual award is based on a team’s academic performance for the entire academic year. To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player’s GPA, then dividing by the number of players.

A total of 142 boys soccer teams throughout the United States earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2013-14 academic year.

Not only were the Blazers successful in the classroom last year, they also got it done on the field. The Blazers finished 2014 with a 24-3 record (18-0 in regular season), losing in the final match of the state championship.
