Our 2021 Fall Festival and Homecoming weekend is October 1-2, and we want to invite you to join us for all the fun that weekend!
Whether you come for the great food, chance to reconnect or make new friends, or to enjoy live music or athletic events, there is something for everyone.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1
- Hess’s Famous Pork & Chicken Barbecue and Music: Takeout 11:30 AM -6:00 PM, and Outdoor Picnic Areas Available. We encourage you to pre-order online.
- Live Music from the LM Modern Band: 3:30 – 5:30 PM to enjoy while you pick-up your BBQ.
- Children’s Activities: 4:00 – 7:30 PM. Come out for Fall Family Fun with Hay Rides, Hay Bale Maze, Petting Zoo & More!
- Guided Campus Tours: 4:00 – 5:00 PM, meet at the skywalk in the middle of campus.
- Athletic Events: The Varsity Girls Soccer game is at 4 PM, and our Varsity Field Hockey game is at 7 PM on the turf field in the stadium.
- Athletics & Blazer Nation Tailgate Celebration: Blazer Nation celebration will honor the Boys Soccer & Field Hockey Teams from 1970 & 1971 at halftime of the Girls Varsity Field Hockey Game and a tailgate snacks reception following the games at 8:45pm in the parking lot of the Turf Stadium Field.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2
- Iron Bridge 5K Run/Walk: 9:15 AM Check-in; 10 AM Start. Pre-register online by Sept 15 to get a t-shirt, or register the day of
- FFA Pancake Brunch: 11 AM – 2 PM, order online or at the door.
- Family Carnival: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM, face painting, carnival games, and more!
- Guided Campus Tours: 12:30-1:30 PM, meet at the skywalk in the middle of campus.
- NEW! Outdoor Concert – The Walking Roots Band at 2 PM, Live outdoor music for the whole family with performances from LM students. Will take place in the grass field next to Gym A and the the stream. No registration required for this free concert.They are an acoustic, blue-ish-grassy group based in Harrisonburg, VA. Steeped in Anabaptist hymn-singing traditions, the band’s original folk music and reclaimed hymns are supported with lush vocal harmonies.
