Lancaster Mennonite School recently gathered to celebrate outgoing Board Chair Kathy Beiler ’85 and thank her for her years of faithful leadership and service to the LM community.
The LM Board hosted an open house for current board members and members of the administrative team to honor Kathy as her term as Board Chair comes to a close at the end of June. The evening included refreshments, gifts, and a special time of gratitude and celebration for the many ways Kathy has faithfully served Lancaster Mennonite.
As both a dedicated leader and LM alumna, Kathy has brought deep care, vision, and commitment to her role. Throughout her time as Board Chair, she helped guide the school through important seasons of growth and planning while continually championing LM’s mission and long-term sustainability.
“Kathy has led with wisdom, steadiness, and a deep commitment to Lancaster Mennonite,” shared school leadership. “Her leadership has helped strengthen LM and position the school well for the future. We are deeply grateful for the countless hours, thoughtful guidance, and faithful service she has given to this community.”
Kathy’s connection to LM spans decades, beginning as a student in the Class of 1985, her children attending here, and continuing through her service as a leader invested in the future of Christian education at Lancaster Mennonite.
LM extends heartfelt thanks to Kathy for the lasting impact she has made on the school community through her servant leadership and dedication.
Lancaster Mennonite also looks forward to welcoming incoming Board Chair Dr. Kim Phipps this July as she begins serving in this important leadership role.
