Lancaster Mennonite School is proud to announce that senior Antonio (Tony) de la Rosa Ruark has been named the recipient of the 2025–26 Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) Scholarship Award.

Each year, the LLMEA Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from a participating school in Lancaster and Lebanon counties who plans to pursue a degree in music. The award recognizes exceptional musical talent, academic achievement, and a strong commitment to continued growth in the field of music. Tony was selected from a competitive pool of applicants, distinguishing himself through his dedication, passion, and accomplishments throughout his high school career.

In a letter from LLMEA leadership, Tony was commended for his “outstanding achievements, dedication, and passion for music,” as well as his potential for future success in the music industry. As part of this honor, he will receive a $500 scholarship to support his continued education.

Tony plans to pursue a degree in violin performance, considering programs at Temple University, Duquesne University, or Lawrence University. His commitment to excellence in music has been evident during his time at Lancaster Mennonite, where he has contributed meaningfully to the school’s music program and broader community.

Tony will be formally recognized at the LLMEA Banquet on April 21, 2026, held at the Eden Resort in Lancaster.

Lancaster Mennonite celebrates Tony’s achievement and looks forward to seeing how he continues to use his gifts to impact others through music. Congrats!!
