The Lancaster YWCA Race Against Racism has been organized for the Lancaster County community for 25 years. The 5k event, along with the Kids Fun Run, raise money to fund antiracism and women empowerment programs of the YWCA.
Lancaster Mennonite has been participating in the event for approximately 10 years. This year LM had 62 members as part of the LMS Blazer team! Congratulations to the group from LM on being awarded the “Largest School Team!” Due to a generous grant to the YWCA, the entry fee for students has been waived, enabling LMS students to participate more easily. Some of our Pre-K and elementary students participated in the Kids’ Fun Run while other students walked/ran the 5k race!
