The Paradise Rotary Club selected three students as its May Students of the Month, including Lancaster Mennonite junior, Miranda Beidler.
The students were recommended by the school’s guidance department, principal or faculty on the basis of significant achievement, as well as good character and citizenship.
“Miranda is a cheerful, passionate student who contributes positively to the LM community at multiple levels. As a member of Silhouette, LM’s Literary Arts Magazine, National Honor Society, and a participant in numerous Drama Productions, LM is a brighter, better place with Miranda’s presence.” – Michael Charles, interim Lancaster Campus Principal
Miranda shares with us –
“I have grown at LM through being a part of the drama department. I have made incredible friends that have changed me for the better. I have also grown in my confidence in myself and in working with others to bring a story to life and make it be the best it can be. I would tell younger students to find something that you’re passionate about and pursue it. You can find like-minded people and do something you love. However, I would also say to try something new. Doing something that you’re not sure about can be the space where you most grow. And who knows; maybe you’ll find something you truly love.”
Congratulations Miranda!
