This December, Lancaster Mennonite had five high school students audition for the 2021 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 7 Band Festival. Four of our high school students placed high enough, earning them a seat in the ensemble. While this year looks different for an in-person festival, the audition was still stressful and rigorous for those involved. Congratulations to Owen Horvath (bass clarinet), Rebecca Stoltzfus (flute), Claire Thomas (french horn), Emma Wilson (french horn). Wilson placed second overall which also earned her a seat in the D7 Orchestra Festival!
For the past two years, LM has had record involvement in PMEA instrumental festivals. Congrats!!
